What makes Loved By Us different from companies like Wag™ and Rover™?

Love By Us is a husband and wife couple who have over 20 years of combined experience helping families with their Loved ones. Our priority is building long term relationships with our clients, with a personal touch. Beginning with our meet and greet, we aim to truly learn about the needs of you and your pet. While you may find a great sitter through major apps, it can be somewhat of a gamble due to the limited regulation of pet sitters and their care practices. However, when you choose Loved By Us, you can leave behind uncertainty. We are licensed, bonded and insured pet caregivers. We come highly recommended and well-prepared with all the essential details to provide the best care for your pets.

Is Loved By Us insured and bonded?

Yes! Loved by us are insured and bonded by Business Insurers of the Carolinas. A copy of our insurance certificate is available upon request.

Both Jamey and Mara have each completed courses in Pet First Aid/CPR or similar.

Can you administer medication to my pet, if needed?

Yes, our experienced pet sitters can administer medication to your cat or dog according to your pets’ specific needs and instructions.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled service may be charged 100% of the fee. Cancellations made within 72 hours of the scheduled service may be charged 50% of the fee. There is no fee for cancellations made prior to 72 hours of the scheduled service.

How do I book and pay for your services?

All scheduling for services is done through the industry standard application, Time to Pet. You can download this app and create a client portal from our website. Once you’ve set up your client/pet profile, you are able to request and schedule services. We offer a convenient in-app payment option, though we also accept cash and checks.

Do you guarantee afternoon care with your overnight service?

Our overnight service begins at 9pm.  We often arrive earlier to settle in and are able to feed the animals at that time.  However, we may have daytime obligations that prevent us from arriving before 9pm.  If you require guaranteed  afternoon care for your pets on your departure day or during absence, please book a separate drop-in visit.  Specify your preferred time along with your overnight booking.  

Do you offer special care for pets?

Yes! We can do things that are beyond the normal call of duty. This includes cases such as medication administration, caring for animals experiencing diarrhea or urinary issues, addressing separation anxiety or any other needs beyond our standard service. Please note that additional care fees may apply in certain situations where extra attention or specialized care is needed for your pet. These fees are usually determined at meet and greets and added as a custom rate to your customer profile ensuring exceptional care for your furry friends.
Additionally, we’d like to highlight that as per our terms of service, we are unable to accommodate aggressive or violent pets.
